The plastic mold ejection system generally includes thimble, front, and rear thimble plates, thimble guide rods, thimble return springs, and thimble plate locking screws. After the product is formed and cooled in the mold, the front and rear molds of the mold are separated and opened, and the ejector mechanism, the ejector pin, pushes the plastic product and its condensate in the runner out or pulls out the cavity and runner position of the mold under the push of the ejector pin of the injection molding machine, for the next injection molding work cycle.
After the product completes a molding cycle, the mold-opening product will wrap around the side of the mold and must be removed from the mold. This work must be done by the ejector system. It is an important part of the whole mold structure and generally consists of three parts: ejection reset and ejection guide.
According to the power, the ejection methods can be divided into four types:
Manual ejection: When the mold is opened, the ejection system is manually operated to eject the product. It can simplify the mold structure and release the mold smoothly. The product is not easily deformed, but the labor intensity of workers is low, and the productivity is low. use.
Motorized ejection: push the ejection mechanism to eject the product through the power of the injection machine or the added motor. It can be ejected through the ejector pin\push pin plate on the machine table. It can also be installed on the male and female templates. Or, when the ejector mechanism is driven by the mold opening force, the ejector mechanism must be controlled to control the mold opening stroke when adjusting the mold.
Hydraulic ejection: A special oil cylinder is installed on the mold, and the action of the oil cylinder is controlled by the injection machine. The speed and time of the ejection force can be adjusted by the hydraulic system. The ejection system can be returned before the mold is closed.
Pneumatic ejection: Use compressed air to set air passages and small ejection holes on the mold to directly blow the product out of the product without leaving ejection marks. It is suitable for thin or long cylindrical products.
